Woman Owned Business: The Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (P.L. 103-355) (FASA) established the government wide goal for participation by small business concerns owned and controlled by women at not less than 5 % of the total value of all prime contract and sub-contract awards for each fiscal year.

Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (Non-Competitive Bidding): Section 308 of the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-183) A contracting officer may set-aside acquisitions for Service-Disabled veteran-Owned (SDVO) business concerns. A CO may award a sole source contract to an SDVO SBC up to $3.0 Million for services and up to $5.0 Million for manufacturing requirements. Award can be made at a fair and reasonable price.
